Spring is finally here!! After months of winter hibernation, mother nature is finally letting it loose – with sound of birds chirping, sights of little bunnies around my neighbourhood, the sunshine, all of it just lights up my day and makes me feel more energized!
Springtime offers a chance for rebirth, renewal and a fresh start. Many people follow spring cleaning rituals around their house or office space, well I say, let’s start with our Guts first 🙂
Health of your digestive system is crucial to the functioning of the entire body. Poor digestion is linked to diseases such as chronic fatigue, depression and anxiety, hormonal imbalances and more. Balancing your digestive system, nourishes your body and energies you to jump into Spring to enjoy all that this season has to offer!
Soups made with fresh vegetables are a great way to cleanse your guts for a Spring Detox! like anything else in the world, our guts also need a break from our regular diets. This break is often referred to as a detox routine. A very gentle way to cleanse and detox our body is to substitute your meals with soups made with organic and fresh vegetables. Also, adding herbs and healing spices such as turmeric and ginger helps to remove toxins and nourishes your body. Start with this routine for 1-2 days and carry on for another few days if your body allows for it! above all, always pay attention to what your body is telling you! Trust the natural healing process that is already present within each one of us 🙂
